Correction: Water Bill due 7/31/25 NOT 6/30/25

Many apologies for the typo!

A reminder: For a single-family dwelling, the quarterly bill of $270 is the base pay for the current quarter of July, August, September (thus “paying ahead”). This provides 5,000 gallons per month of water usage. Your quarterly bill also includes the actual water usage from the meter readings three months prior (offset by one month): 2/28/25-5/31/25. If there were any water overages beyond the 5,000 gallons per month, the statement would include that charge at $3.15 per 1,000 gallons of water used.

AutoPay can be set up through the online Customer Portal: https://oceanside.secure.munibilling.com or by contacting Amber in the OWD office at 503-842-0370 or office@owd-oregon.org. The office is open from 9am-12pm Monday through Friday for any questions or assistance.

Update on Cape Meares Water Conservation

The replacement valve was successfully installed at the Cape Meares treatment plant Wednesday evening. Water from Coleman Creek is currently being treated and stored in the Cape Meares reservoir. At the point when the repair was completed the level was 6.3 feet or about 25% capacity. This meant that the conservation efforts by Cape Meares residents were successful and greatly appreciated. Thank you. Conservation signs will be pulled this afternoon, Friday May 30th.
