Attention Cape Meares Residents: Water Boil Advisory is LIFTED (1:40pm 8/28/25)
Important Notice: Water is SAFE to consume. The Water Boil Advisory that was in effect is now lifted. All coliform samples came back as “absent” meaning no bacteria is present in the system. The water is safe to consume. No water flushing is necessary.
This notice was emailed to all Cape Meares residents with emails on file. Please call if you have any questions: Oceanside Water Treatment Plant, 503-842-6462 or Christian Anderson, District Manager, at 503-457-3116.

Cape Meares Residents: Boil Water Advisory still in effect 8/28/25
Communication regarding the Boil Water Notice will be updated on our website and sent out via email. If you have not been receiving email notices regarding the leak repair and boil water notice, please email oceansidewaterdistrict@gmail.com to notify the office of your current email.
We will inform you when tests show no bacteria and you no longer need to boil your water. We anticipate resolving the problem
within approximately 72 hour (By Friday) or when Samples come back “Absent”.

Water Service Interruption for all Cape Meares Residents, 8/26/25 10AM-4PM
**IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT WATER SERIVCE**
Water service for all Cape Meares residents will be Shut Off on Tuesday 08/26/2025 from 10AM-4PM.
Oceanside Water District will be repairing a leak on Bayocean and 12th street. This leak is on the main water line feeding the community, so a temporary shut off of the entire Cape Meares water system is necessary.
